Caretaker Prime Minister Calls for Development Strategy to Attract International Investment

Islamabad, In an effort to bolster Pakistan’s economy, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar has issued a directive to all ministries to formulate a strategy within five days, aimed at establishing development projects capable of attracting international investment. This directive was given during a meeting focused on reviewing progress on investment agreements with friendly nations, particularly members of the Gulf Cooperation Countries.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister has ordered the ministries to quickly identify and propose viable projects for international investment to the Special Investment Facilitation Council. The meeting also provided the Prime Minister with updates on Pakistan’s recent advancements in international agreements across a variety of sectors including energy, finance, logistics, food security, water, and minerals.
