Muzaffarabad, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar is scheduled to arrive in Muzaffarabad today for a two-day visit to Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the Prime Minister’s visit is a gesture of solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir following the Indian Supreme Court’s endorsement of India’s unilateral and illegal move regarding the status of Jammu and Kashmir.
During his visit, the Prime Minister will make his way to the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, where he will be honored with a guard of honour. He is also slated to address the Legislative Assembly. Further, he will pay respects at the martyrs’ memorial by laying a floral wreath. Additionally, Prime Minister Kakar will chair a meeting of the Cabinet of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
