Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar Honors Martyrs in Muzaffarabad Visit

Muzaffarabad, During a two-day visit to Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar paid homage to the martyrs of the Kashmir freedom movement. His visit included a stop at Yadgar-e-Shuhada, where he laid a floral wreath and offered fateha, praying for the martyrs’ souls.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, also included a tour of the Shuhada Gallery. Here, the Prime Minister was briefed on the lives and contributions of the leaders of the Kashmir freedom movement. This gesture is seen as an affirmation of Pakistan’s support and recognition of the sacrifices made in the struggle for Kashmir’s freedom.

Upon his arrival at the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Prime Minister Kakar received a guard of honor from a smart contingent of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir police. This formal reception underscores the importance of his visit and the respect accorded to him by the local authorities.

Also present during these events was the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, highlighting the solidarity and shared commitment of both leaders to the Kashmir cause.
