Muzaffarabad, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar visited Yadgar-e-Shuhada in Azad Kashmir to honor the memory of those who sacrificed their lives in the Jammu and Kashmir freedom movement.
According to Kashmir Media Service, PM Kakar laid a floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada, paying his respects to the fallen heroes of the armed forces. During the visit, he was also accorded a guard of honor by a smart contingent of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Police.
The Prime Minister’s visit, part of a two-day trip to the region, was received by AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq. This visit signifies PM Kakar’s solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir, especially in light of the recent ruling by the Indian Supreme Court confirming India’s unilateral and illegal actions regarding the status of Jammu and Kashmir.
