Peshawar, in a concerning development, a blast on Warsak Road in Peshawar injured five individuals, including four children, prompting a strong condemnation from Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar and a reiteration of Pakistan’s commitment to fighting terrorism.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the incident occurred on Tuesday. A spokesman from Lady Reading Hospital indicated that two of the injured children are in critical condition. The authorities are still determining the nature of the blast.
Responding to the situation, Prime Minister Kakar directed the authorities to ensure the provision of the best possible medical care for the injured children and offered prayers for their speedy recovery. He also instructed law enforcement agencies to expedite the investigation of the incident.
Emphasizing the severity of the attack, Prime Minister Kakar declared that terrorists would not be permitted to undermine Pakistan’s peace. He assured that those responsible for the blast would be identified and held accountable. Reinforcing his stance, Kakar stated Pakistan’s unwavering determination to continue the war on terrorism until the complete eradication of this menace.
