Caretaker PM Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar Attends 54th World Economic Forum in Switzerland

Zurich, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar is currently in Switzerland to participate in the 54th annual meeting of the World Economic Forum (WEF), which commences today. The event, hosted annually, gathers leaders from various sectors globally to discuss pressing economic and geopolitical issues.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Prime Minister Kakar is set to engage in three key thematic events at the forum. These events focus on significant global challenges: ‘Preventing an Era of Global Conflicts’, ‘Restoring Faith in the Global System’, and ‘Preventing Economic Fracture’. These sessions are expected to address the growing concerns of international conflict, trust in global governance, and potential economic divides.

In addition to participating in these discussions, the Prime Minister will deliver a keynote address on the theme ‘Trade, Tax, Trillion Dollar Promise’. This speech is anticipated to highlight the Prime Minister’s vision and policy proposals regarding international trade, tax systems, and the global economy’s future.

Moreover, Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar’s schedule includes bilateral meetings with various government and business leaders. These meetings, held on the sidelines of the WEF, are aimed at fostering dialogue and collaboration between Pakistan and other countries in both governmental and business sectors.
