Caretaker Minister Visits South Waziristan Lower, Emphasizes Development and Prosperity

Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Caretaker Minister for Amalgamation, Industries, Crafts, and Technical Education, Dr. Amir Abdullah, conducted a one-day visit to the tribal district of South Waziristan Lower. During his visit, Dr. Abdullah attended a large jirga and open court as a special guest, where he met with tribal leaders, elected representatives, and youth at the district headquarters in Wana.

According to the Directorate General Information and PRs, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the meeting was also attended by Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Nasir Khan, Additional Deputy Commissioner Kashmir Khan, District Police Officer Farmanullah Wardag, and heads of various line departments. The caretaker minister was briefed on the progress of development projects, administrative efforts to resolve public problems, and the current law and order situation in South Waziristan Lower district.

Additionally, Dr. Abdullah held a special meeting with local dignitaries and the youth of South Waziristan Lower district to discuss their concerns at the local level. In his address to the large jirga, the minister expressed his gratitude for the hospitality shown by the tribal people. He emphasized that the development and prosperity of Waziristan are top priorities for the provincial government. The minister’s visit to the tribal districts is part of a broader effort to address the needs and problems of the merged districts on a priority basis.
