Caretaker Minister Aneeq Ahmed Calls for Respect and Prayers from Hajj Pilgrims in Saudi Arabia

Hyderabad, In a significant move aimed at promoting national dignity abroad, Caretaker Minister for Religious Affairs, Aneeq Ahmed, has called on Hajj pilgrims to uphold the prestige of their country while in Saudi Arabia. Addressing attendees at the first Hajj training workshop in Hyderabad, Ahmed emphasized the importance of behaving as civilized citizens and making special prayers for the stability and security of their homeland, particularly in the Arafat field.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the minister highlighted the comprehensive preparations undertaken to ensure that the pilgrims are well-versed in both the rituals of Hajj and necessary administrative procedures. The training, deemed mandatory for all participants of the sacred pilgrimage, aims to enhance the overall Hajj experience with improved facilities compared to previous years. Efforts to alleviate the financial burden of the journey have been made, including a reduction in expenses and the introduction of a special mobile application designed to guide the pilgrims through their spiritual journey.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has announced additional support for pilgrims, offering free mobile phone SIMs and a briefcase to each participant. In a move to cater specifically to the needs of female pilgrims, free abayas will also be provided, ensuring that all attendees are appropriately equipped for their pilgrimage.

The announcement reflects the government’s commitment to facilitating a dignified and spiritually fulfilling Hajj experience for its citizens, underscoring the significance of representing one’s country positively on an international stage.
