Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi Vows for Fair Elections and Smooth Government Transition

Karachi, Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Murtaza Solangi, has assured the nation of a seamless transition to the next elected government under the supervision of the current caretaker administration. In a statement on a private news channel, he highlighted the Election Commission of Pakistan’s (ECP) role in ensuring fair and transparent elections and praised the Commission for its steadfast adherence to constitutional and legal mandates.

According to Radio Pakistan, the Minister lauded the ECP for its timely release of the election schedule, providing a 54-day campaign period for all registered political parties. This move is seen as a significant step towards ensuring equal opportunities in the upcoming electoral process. Solangi emphasized the caretaker government’s commitment to impartiality, underscoring their dedication to fulfilling the requirements set forth by the Election Commission.
