Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi Calls for Political Unity for National Progress

Karachi, Murtaza Solangi, the Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, has appealed to all political parties in Pakistan to unite in their efforts for the country’s betterment. During a discussion on a private news channel, he emphasized addressing the real issues facing the nation.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Solangi highlighted the importance of focusing on the country’s pressing problems and called for political unity in this endeavor. He referenced Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s struggle during the British era as a model for contemporary politicians, noting that Jinnah’s movement never breached the law. Solangi stressed that Jinnah’s firm belief in the rule of law, even under colonial rule, is a guiding principle for today’s political landscape, advocating for change through peaceful political struggle.

Addressing a question regarding the Election Commission, the Minister affirmed its independence as a body capable of addressing any irregularities. He noted that the Commission has already taken notice of incidents involving the snatching of nomination papers.

Solangi’s call for political unity and his emphasis on adhering to lawful and peaceful means of political change underscore the need for collaborative and principled governance for the progress of the country.
