Islamabad, Caretaker Minister for Information, Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs Murtaza Solangi made a visit to the press gallery at the Parliament House in Islamabad today, engaging with journalists covering Parliament affairs. During his interaction, Solangi emphasized the interim government’s commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities in accordance with the law and constitution, highlighting the crucial role of the journalist community in sustaining democracy and freedom of expression in the country.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Solangi lauded the journalists as the main pillars of democracy and expressed that the caretaker government has taken steps to ensure the freedom of expression is upheld. The visiting journalists reciprocated by thanking the Minister for his visit to the press gallery and acknowledged his contributions as the Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting in fostering a conducive environment for journalism and freedom of speech.
