Islamabad, Murtaza Solangi, the Caretaker Minister for Information, Broadcasting, and Parliamentary Affairs, emphasized the government’s dedication to resolving issues raised by Baloch protestors and reaffirmed the commitment to holding free and fair general elections.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during his appearance on a private television program, Minister Solangi discussed the ongoing situation with the Baloch protestors. He stated that the government is providing medical facilities to the protestors and aims to ensure their safe return home, although the protestors have refused this offer. Solangi assured that their longstanding issues are being acknowledged and efforts are being made to resolve them within the limited term of the caretaker government.
Responding to a question about the upcoming general elections, the Information Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to conducting free, fair, and transparent elections, scheduled for February 8 next year. This statement comes as a reassurance of the government’s dedication to upholding democratic processes in the country.
