Islamabad, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi announced that the caretaker government has successfully completed its primary duty of conducting the general elections. In a media briefing held in Islamabad on Monday, Solangi expressed satisfaction with the election process and outlined the next steps for transitioning to the newly elected government.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Solangi stated that the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs is prepared to initiate the process for convening the National Assembly session. This action is pending the release of the official list of elected candidates by the Election Commission, which is currently in progress.
Furthermore, Solangi addressed concerns regarding the Commissioner of Rawalpindi, revealing that an investigation committee has been established to look into the matter. He emphasized the Election Commission’s active role in this situation, advocating for public trust in the country’s institutions and systems.
