Caretaker Government Commits to Lawful Resolution of Election Complaints, Says Solangi

Islamabad, Murtaza Solangi, the Caretaker Minister for Information and Broadcasting, has assured that all justified complaints related to the recent polls will be addressed in accordance with the law. During his appearance on a talk show of a private TV channel, Solangi highlighted the caretaker government’s efforts in conducting what he described as the largest democratic exercise in the country, emphasizing its commitment to a process that was free, fair, transparent, and peaceful.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Solangi detailed the scale of the electoral process, noting that approximately 18,000 candidates participated in the elections. With over 90,000 polling stations established across the country, more than 60 million individuals were able to cast their votes, underscoring the magnitude of the electoral exercise.

Solangi’s remarks come amid scrutiny of the polling process, with some parties raising concerns over its conduct. The minister’s commitment to addressing these complaints through appropriate legal channels reaffirms the caretaker government’s dedication to upholding democratic principles and ensuring that the electoral process reflects the will of the people.
