Islamabad, The Caretaker Federal Cabinet, chaired by Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar, convened today to discuss the recent Iranian attack on Pakistani soil. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs provided a comprehensive briefing on the incident and Pakistan’s subsequent actions.
According to Press Information Department, the Cabinet praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for their professionalism in responding to the violation of Pakistan’s sovereignty. Prime Minister Kakar emphasized Pakistan’s peaceful nature and the importance of restoring cordial relations with Iran. The Prime Minister expressed openness to positive gestures from Iran to mend ties following the events of January 16, 2024.
The meeting underlined Pakistan’s desire for friendly relations with all nations, especially neighboring countries, and highlighted the long-standing fraternal ties with Iran.
