Caretaker Education Minister Madad Ali Sindhi Calls for Enhanced Promotion of Arabic Language in Pakistan

Karachi, Madad Ali Sindhi, the Caretaker Minister for Federal Education and Professional Training, has emphasized the importance of promoting the Arabic language in Pakistan. His remarks were made during a conference on the role of institutions and individuals in reviving the Arabic language, hosted by the International Islamic University in Islamabad.

According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Minister Sindhi lauded the efforts of the International Islamic University in promoting Arabic. He highlighted the university’s exemplary role, noting the significant contributions of teachers from various countries, including Egypt, Sudan, and Saudi Arabia.

The conference also featured remarks from the Ambassador of the Republic of Yemen, Muhammad Mutahar AlAshbi, who underscored Arabic’s significance as the language of the Quran. He called for concerted efforts to further its promotion.

The emphasis on enhancing the status of Arabic language education in Pakistan reflects the country’s cultural and religious ties to the language and its importance in the Islamic world.
