Caretaker CM of Sindh Welcomes Dawoodi Bohra Leader Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin to Karachi

Karachi, Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, the head of the worldwide Dawoodi Bohra community, along with his family, arrived at the old terminal in Karachi on Monday. The spiritual leader’s arrival was met with a warm reception led by Caretaker Sindh Chief Minister Justice (R) Maqbool Baqar. The welcoming committee included former Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Mayor Karachi Murtaza Wahab, Deputy Chairman Senate Saleem Mandviwala, and members of the Bohra Community.

According to the Sindh Chief Minister House, Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin’s visit to Karachi follows his invitation by the Government and the community members. He arrived from Sri Lanka on Monday, November 20. The Chief Minister, along with other dignitaries, presented bouquets of flowers to Dr Syedna upon his arrival, symbolizing the region’s respect and reverence for the spiritual leader.

Dr Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin, expressing his appreciation for the heartfelt welcome, thanked Chief Minister Baqar and other officials. His visit marks a significant event for the Dawoodi Bohra community in Karachi and underscores the Sindh government’s recognition of the diverse religious and cultural fabric of the region.
