Srinagar, July 18, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Pulwama Journalists Federation (PJF) held a candlelight protest in memory of late Danish Siddiqui, Pulitzer winning photojournalist. Danish Siddiqui, lost his life reportedly in clashes between Aghan Taliban and Afgan military on Friday, 16 July 2021 in Spin Boldak district of Kandhar when he was on an assignment for his media organization, Reuters.
Nisar-ul-Haq, PJF President, and members during a meeting expressed sympathy and solidarity with the bereaved family. During the meeting, it was remembered how bold and brave Siddiqui used to show truth through his lens. The meeting concluded with special prayers for the slain soul and patience to the bereaved family.
