Islamabad: A meeting of the Cabinet Committee for Disposal of Legislative Cases (CCLC) convened under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Law and Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar resulted in the approval of several significant legislative drafts. Attended by Minister of State for Finance Bilal Azhar Kiani and officials from various ministries and divisions, the session marked a step forward in legislative procedures.
According to Press Information Department, the committee approved the National Bank of Pakistan (Amendment) Bill, 2026, along with amendments to the Research and Development Fund Rules, 2006, and the Universal Service Fund (Amendment) Rules, 2026. Additionally, an amendment to Section 18(3) of the NADRA Ordinance, 2000, was approved. The approved drafts are set to be submitted to the relevant forums for further proceedings.
