Islamabad: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah released a statement commemorating the 29th death anniversary of Mir Murtaza Bhutto, highlighting his contributions and the Bhutto family’s enduring political legacy.
The Chief Minister emphasized that Mir Murtaza Bhutto, heir to Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, was tragically killed at a young age. He characterized the assassination as a scheme to weaken Pakistani democracy, stating that the truth behind this conspiracy has become increasingly clear.
Shah contended that authoritarian governments have repeatedly targeted Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders.
He declared, “The significant sacrifices of the Bhutto family represent a momentous chapter in national history.” He added, “The contributions made by Shaheed Bhutto and his relatives are a distinguished part of our heritage, and the Bhuttos have consistently sacrificed for the rights of the citizens.”
