Business Facilitation Center in Islamabad to Feature 40 Counters; Minister Aleem Khan Orders New Layout


Islamabad: A new Business Facilitation Center, spearheaded by the Board of Investment (BOI), is set to offer comprehensive one-window services to the business community, aiming to consolidate and simplify interactions with various business-related departments. The center, currently under construction, will house 40 service counters to address the needs of businessmen efficiently.



According to Press Information Department, during a recent visit to the site, Federal Minister for Board of Investment, Privatization, and Communications Abdul Aleem Khan directed a revision of the center’s layout to enhance operational efficiency. He emphasized the need for staffing these counters with highly educated and competent officers to ensure high-quality service. Minister Khan envisions the facility as a model for future centers across the country, emphasizing the incorporation of modern amenities, including a quality coffee shop and internet access, to create a conducive environment for business activities.



The development of the center has received assurances of support from Muhammad Ali Randhawa, Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), who committed to expediting the construction process. Furthermore, Federal Secretary for Board of Investment Abdul Rahim Qureshi, along with senior officers, briefed Minister Khan on critical aspects of the design and functionality of the center, which is also set to offer ample space and convenient parking to avoid any potential inconveniences for visitors.
