BSF Officer Found Dead in Hotel Room in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan

Jaisalmer, The body of an Indian Border Security Force (BSF) officer was found under suspicious circumstances in a hotel room in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. The discovery has raised concerns and prompted an investigation into the cause of death.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased has been identified as Adarsh Kumar Rai, a resident of Kankroli, Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. Rai’s body was found in a hotel room located opposite the railway station in Jaisalmer.

Local police, along with BSF officers, responded to the scene and entered the hotel room where Rai was found. His body was subsequently transported to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. At the time of his death, Adarsh Kumar Rai was serving in the Dabla BSF Battalion in Jaisalmer.

The circumstances surrounding Rai’s death are currently under investigation by the police. The incident has cast a spotlight on the safety and well-being of security force personnel in the region.
