BSF Constable Found Dead at Training Facility in Madhya Pradesh

Indore, The body of a 25-year-old Border Security Force (BSF) constable was discovered floating in a well at a training facility in Madhya Pradesh, marking a tragic incident within one of India’s premier paramilitary training institutions.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the deceased, identified as Subhash Sao, had been missing for three days from the Central School of Weapons and Tactics (CSWT) in Indore, where he was undergoing training. Sao, who hailed from Hazaribagh in Jharkhand, had joined the BSF 10 weeks prior and was part of an ongoing training program at the time of his disappearance.

Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Alok Kumar Sharma reported that Sao went missing on February 16, prompting the BSF to file a missing person report with local police. The discovery of Sao’s body in the well on the CSWT campus has raised questions and concerns, with the circumstances of his death currently being described as suspicious.

The exact cause of Sao’s death awaits clarification from the postmortem report. Meanwhile, the incident has cast a shadow over the BSF’s training facility in Indore, located adjacent to the Aerodrome police station, as authorities work to uncover the details surrounding the constable’s untimely demise.
