According to Pakistan Navy announcement issued on 22 July 2024, the Brazilian Chief of Staff was accorded a formal reception, including a guard of honor and a floral tribute at the Shuhada Monument. Discussions between Admiral Mendes and Admiral Ashraf covered various aspects of mutual interest, including regional maritime security and potential avenues for cooperation such as training exchanges and joint naval exercises.
