Bousher Bikers Club Strengthens Ties with Journey to Gilgit


Gilgit: In a significant gesture of friendship and cultural exchange, the Bousher Bikers Club from Oman has arrived in Gilgit, marking a new milestone in the bilateral relations between Oman and Pakistan.



The delegation, consisting of Omani motorcyclists, embarked on an overland journey from Oman to Pakistan, showcasing the strong bond between the two nations. This visit is part of a project initiated by the Embassy of Pakistan in Oman to enhance diplomatic and cultural ties.



The bikers reached Gilgit city after crossing Babusar Top and Chilas, beginning their journey through Pakistan’s landscapes. During their visit, they plan to explore historic sites, valleys, and ancient routes to immerse themselves in the region’s cultural heritage.



Their itinerary includes visits to Altit Fort and Baltit Fort, as well as explorations of Chipursun valley and the frontier valley of Misgar. The journey will culminate at Khunjerab Pass in Gilgit-Baltistan, the highest border crossing between Pakistan and China.



This visit underscores the warm relations between Oman and Pakistan and highlights the potential for further cultural exchanges, which will also help in promoting tourism in Pakistan.
