Body of missing civilian recovered from Jhelum River in Srinagar 

Srinagar, July 20, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, body of a 34-year-old Srinagar-based broker was found in Srinagar. The body of Shameem Ali Nath, who has been missing for the last almost two weeks from his home in Chattabal in Srinagar, was recovered from river Jhelum. After failing to find him, the family lodged a missing report at the nearest police station after five days.

“A body was spotted by some passers-by inside river Jhelum at Malpora, following which a police team reached the site and retrieved the body and it came out to be of Shameem Ali Nath,” police said adding the body was taken by the police team into its possession for necessary medico-legal formalities. Meanwhile, Indian troops during cordon and search operations arrested several youth in north and south Kashmir.
