BJP’s claim of getting 50 plus seats in Assembly polls ‘day dreaming’: Azad

Jammu, December 26, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Congress leader, Ghulam Nabi Azad has termed the BJP’s claim of getting 50 plus seats in the Assembly elections, yet to be announced, as a “day dreaming.”

Ghulam Nabi Azad talking to reporters after a Christmas Day function in Udhampur town said that the BJP leaders were day dreaming by claiming that their party would win 50 assembly seats in the territory.

He refused to comment on a proposal forwarded by the Delimitation Commission wherein six seats have been kept for Jammu region and one for Kashmir. “But if elections would have taken place before delimitation, it would be a good thing,” he maintained, adding that the authorities should restore Kashmir’s statehood before conducting the assembly elections.
