BJP wants to win Assembly polls by increasing seats in IIOJK: Farooq Abdullah

Jammu, December 23, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, National Conference President, and Farooq Abdullah, has said that the Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) wants to win the Assembly seats proposed to be increased in Jammu division and form a government in the territory but it will not succeed.

Farooq Abdullah in a TV interview said that the BJP was trying to fulfill its dream of winning seats in Jammu to form the government in IIOJK. “They (the BJP) will never win the elections without rigging. People hate the party,” he said.

Farooq Abdullah said the NC is going to challenge the Delimitation Commission’s report in the Indian Supreme Court. He said they have challenged the August 5, 2019 changes in the Supreme Court but don’t know why it is not hearing the case. “We stand by our decision that the Delimitation Commission has been set up in breach of the Apex Court working as our case challenging August 5 decision is pending there,” he said.
