Srinagar, June 23, 2022 (PPI-OT):A new Hindutva BJP face and BJP’s Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi is likely to replace Manoj Sinha as the new Lt Governor of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Naqvi’s name surfaced after indications from the Election Commission that Assembly elections in the territory may be held before the year end. Reports said that the BJP had decided not to field Naqvi in the recent Indian Rajya Sabha polls In light of his likelihood to get the Lt Governor’s post in IIOJK. The occupied territory is under presidential rule from 2018.
