Jammu, June 29, 2021 (PPI-OT): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has set its sight on forming the next government in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) as it has requested the government of India for early completion of delimitation process and holding assembly elections in the territory as soon as possible. The BJP Working Committee in Jammu made the demand in a meeting.
The development comes days after the All Party Meeting (APM) chaired by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on June 24. Talking to reporters after the meeting at the party headquarters in Jammu, BJP J and K chief Ravinder Raina said the meeting unanimously passed a political resolution requesting the delimitation commission to complete the assigned task early to pave the way for the holding of assembly elections so that new govt could be formed.
Earlier, addressing the party leaders, Raina said the party has a big mission – to form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir. He asked the party workers to get ready for elections and do all they can for success of the party in the next elections so that it could form the government with full majority and BJP could have a chief minister in chair.
