Srinagar, In a recent move, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led government has seized properties belonging to two civilians in the Baramulla district of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the properties, comprising 1 Kanal and 11 Marlas, are located in the Uri area and were owned by Mohammad Arif and Mohammad Bashir. These individuals reportedly migrated to Azad Kashmir years ago, fleeing what they described as Indian state terrorism. The official rationale given for the seizure relates to their alleged advocacy for a plebiscite and political justice in the region.
