Srinagar, August 19, 2021 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, a Sarpanch affiliated with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was arrested while a pistol was recovered from his possession in south Kashmir’s Kulgam. The police carried out searches at the home of BJP Sarpanch, Aqib Shafi, at Kawaki Bazar in Qaimoh area of the district. During the searches, the Sarpanch was arrested and a pistol recovered from him was also seized. Police said that besides the Sarpanch, one more person was also arrested with a pistol and its magazines in Khudwani area of the district.
