Srinagar: In a recent move by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) regime, Mushtaq Ahmad Rather, the Principal of Boys Higher Secondary School (BHSS) in Sopore, has been suspended. The suspension comes amid undisclosed allegations that have prompted an official inquiry in the region of Indian-administered Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the suspension was ordered by the Jammu and Kashmir School Education Department. The Director of School Education, Kashmir, has been designated as the inquiry officer to oversee the investigation into the specifics of the case. A comprehensive report, including recommendations, is expected to be completed and submitted within the next 15 days.
In the interim, the administrative responsibilities and financial authority of BHSS, Sopore, have been reassigned to the Principal of Girls Higher Secondary School, Sopore, pending the outcome of the investigation and further directives.
