Srinagar, In a continuing effort to exert control over the region, the BJP-led Indian government has confiscated properties belonging to two young residents of Shopian district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the operation was conducted by Indian police and personnel from various security agencies, including the notorious National Investigation Agency and State Investigation Agency. The properties of Aadil Hussain and Muhammad Yaqoob, which include lands and a shop, were attached under orders from the central government.
This move is part of a broader strategy by the BJP regime, which has been using its security apparatus aggressively to dispossess Kashmiris of their properties. The government’s actions extend beyond individual seizures, having already confiscated the headquarters of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference and assets belonging to Jamaat-e-Islami, including offices, shopping complexes, schools, and other institutions. Numerous homes and businesses of Hurriyat leaders and activists have also been demolished across the occupied territory.
