Chhattisgarh, Kailash Nag, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the divisional vice president of the party’s business cell, was killed in an attack by Naxalites in the Kotmeta area of Chhattisgarh, a state troubled by insurgent activities. The incident involved the abduction and interrogation of Nag before his assassination, marking a significant escalation in violence against political figures in the region.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Nag was overseeing the construction of a new pond in Kotmeta of Jangla when he was abducted.
