Jammu, May 10, 2023 (PPI-OT): The President of the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir chapter of Indian National Congress, Vikar Rasool Wani, has said that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) increased the hardships of the people of the territory. Vikar Rasool Wani addressing a party meeting in Jammu said the BJP has failed to achieve anything as a result there has been enormous increase in the hardships of the people in occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He criticized the Modi regime for imposing heavy taxes of various kinds thus breaking the backbone of common man in the territory. He referred to the anti-youth policies of the present dispensation and manifold hike in the prices of all essential commodities besides problems of water, electricity and essential civic facilities. The Congress working president in IIOJK, Raman Bhalla, talking in Jammu to the party functionaries from different areas lashed out at the Modi government for the unprecedented price hike and record unemployment besides failing to address the grievances of people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir on every count.

Meanwhile, senior Congress leader, G A Mir, talking to various delegations in South Kashmir said the people of the territory are robbed of their rights and the tall claims by BJP regime are contrary to reality. He said, the BJP regime is drawing ‘sadistic pleasure’ out of a deliberate burden put on poor people of the territory on account of unprecedented price hike, thereby making their survival more difficult.
