Srinagar: The BJP-led government has recently suspended five employees in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir due to their alleged failure to fulfill election duties.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the suspensions target employees who did not report for duty during the Reasi district elections. The first phase of the assembly elections in IIOJK occurred on September 18.
The suspension orders were issued by the District Election Officer, Vishesh Mahajan. Kulbhushan Khajuria, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of Reasi, has been tasked with conducting further investigations and is expected to submit a report within ten days.
The individuals affected are Muhammad Ashraf, Gian Chand, Gulam Ahmed, Muhammad Nazir, and Muhammad Iqbal, all of whom serve as teachers. This action continues a pattern of employment suspensions by the BJP regime, raising concerns about efforts to staff these roles with individuals supporting the Hindutva agenda.
