Srinagar, June 04, 2022 (PPI-OT):In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party (DFP), headed by incarcerated Shabbir Ahmad Shah, has said that the targeted killing of Kashmiri Pandits by unknown assailants was a deep-rooted conspiracy aimed at paving a way for Muslims’ genocide in the territory.

The DFP in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said that the recent spurt in violence against Hindu minority community across the Kashmir Valley was a replica of the wicked plan the-then Governor of Jammu and Kashmir Jaghmohan Malhotra had put in practice in 1989 to malign the Kashmiris’ indigenous freedom struggle as “terrorism”.

“The Hindu supremacist regime is following the same policy, the only difference is that the apartheid regime is using it to advance its communal agenda that seeks to change the region’s demography by turning Muslim majority into a minority,” it said.

Referring to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief, Mohan Bhagwat’s statement, the DFP said that Bhagwat had stated publicly that the only solution to the Kashmir problem was the change in the demography of the territory. It said that all that the BJP government wanted to do was to create an environment of fear and insecurity by killing Kashmiri Pandits under the guise of unknown assailants to put blame on freedom fighters.

Terming the recent killings of Kashmiri Pandits as the handiwork of Indian secret agencies, the statement said scores of Indian agencies working in the region have been tasked to execute this nefarious game plan by killing members of minority communities in IIOJK.

“India has always used the targeted killing of minority community members as a tool to drive a wedge between the two communities and whip up communal hatred against Muslims in the Indian mainland,” it said, adding that despite all this the Kashmiris have maintained communal harmony and always protected their Hindu neighbours.

The DFP urged the Kashmiri masses to remain vigilant to expose the nefarious designs of the Indian government that was hell bent upon using the Kashmiri Pandits as scapegoats to advance their communal agenda. It also urged the Kashmiri Pandit community not to fall prey to the BJP’s conspiracy.
