BJP Condemns NC Manifesto as ‘Anti-India,’ Alleges Congress Support for Separatist Agenda

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has criticized the National Conference (NC) manifesto for promoting what it perceives as separatist policies, including a call for a separate flag and constitution for Jammu and Kashmir, alongside the restoration of Article 370. The party also accuses the Congress of endorsing these divisive strategies.

According to Kashmir Media Service, BJP leaders Tarun Chugh and Virendra Sachdeva expressed their disapproval at a press conference, targeting the Congress for its alleged cooperation with the NC. They claim that the NC’s proposals threaten to destabilize national unity by reintroducing armed resistance in the region.

The BJP’s stance sharpens the political conflict, highlighting profound disagreements over the approach to Jammu and Kashmir’s autonomy and governance. The party leaders argue that the Congress’s actions risk national security for political gain, intensifying the debate on this contentious issue.
