BISP to Provide Modern Skills Training to Beneficiaries, Says Chairperson Robina Khalid


Islamabad: Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), Robina Khalid, announced a new initiative to equip BISP beneficiaries with modern skills relevant to both domestic and international job markets, enhancing their ability to earn livelihoods independently.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a press conference held today in Islamabad, Khalid detailed plans to revive the Waseela Rozgar component of BISP. This initiative aims to provide targeted skills training that aligns with current market demands, thereby improving the employment prospects of recipients under the program.



This move is part of broader efforts by BISP to not only provide financial support but also to foster self-sufficiency among its beneficiaries through vocational training and education.
