New York: A bilateral meeting was convened between Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, Federal Secretary for Human Rights, and Julie, Advisor at the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Global, USA, during the #CSW70 event. The meeting aimed at enhancing cooperation and technical support in areas such as the National Mechanism for Implementation, Reporting, and Follow-up (NMIRF), Human Rights Information Management System (HRIMS), and the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process.

According to Ministry of Human Rights, the discussions were productive and centered on promoting and protecting human rights, with both sides exchanging views on strengthening national human rights mechanisms. The meeting highlighted a shared commitment to advancing the broader human rights agenda and ensuring continued partnership and engagement.
