Bihar MLA Alleges BJP’s Plan to Incite Religious Tensions at Ram Temple Inauguration

New Delhi, A Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in Bihar, India, has made a startling claim that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is plotting a bomb blast during the upcoming inauguration ceremony of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, on January 22.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the MLA, identified as Ajay Yadav of the Atari constituency in Bihar, alleged during a function in Gaya that the BJP aims to target devotees attending the grand event. The comments, which have circulated on social media, suggest that the BJP plans to use the incident to stir religious tensions, placing blame on Pakistan and Muslims.

Yadav further claimed that such an incident would lead to heightened religious tensions across India, which the Modi government would allegedly exploit for its communal political agenda. The opening ceremony of the Ram Temple, built on the site of the demolished Babri Masjid, will see Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in attendance as a special guest.

This allegation from a state-level political leader reflects the deepening political and communal divisions in India, and the potential for major religious events to become focal points of controversy and tension.
