Islamabad: President Aleksandr Lukashenko of Belarus arrived in Islamabad for a three-day visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations with Pakistan. The visit will include discussions with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and the signing of various agreements and Memorandums of Understanding.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, the focus of President Lukashenko’s visit is on extensive talks with the Pakistani leadership, highlighting areas of mutual interest and cooperation. The visit is seen as a testament to the growing partnership between the two countries.
A ministerial delegation from Belarus, led by Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov, had arrived in Islamabad ahead of President Lukashenko. The delegation was received at the airport by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, setting the stage for the scheduled diplomatic engagements.
