Islamabad, As Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif prepares for his upcoming visit to China, Beijing expresses its anticipation for the visit, viewing it as a crucial step in strengthening the bilateral all-weather strategic partnership between the two nations.
According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, during a regular briefing in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning highlighted that the visit is expected to promote greater joint development initiatives between China and Pakistan. The visit, scheduled from Tuesday to Saturday, marks PM Sharif’s first trip to China following the formation of Pakistan’s new government earlier this year and comes on the invitation of Chinese Premier Li Qiang.
This diplomatic engagement is seen as an opportunity to further consolidate the strong ties between the two countries, focusing on mutual benefits and strategic cooperation.
