Barkhan Marks Kashmir Exploitation Day with Significant Rally

Barkhan: The district of Barkhan observed Kashmir Exploitation Day with a significant rally from the DC Complex, led by Deputy Commissioner Waqar Khurshid Alam. The event drew a diverse group of participants, including government officers and members from various schools of thought, to express solidarity with Kashmir and condemn India’s actions in the region.

According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, participants at the rally carried banners denouncing India’s serious human rights violations in Jammu and Kashmir, which have been ongoing since the controversial revocation of the region’s special status on August 5, 2019. The banners highlighted India’s unilateral actions to alter the disputed status of Kashmir under its rule, actions that participants claim violate international laws and the United Nations Security Council resolutions.

Deputy Commissioner Waqar Khurshid Alam emphasized the unity and support of the Pakistani people for Kashmir’s struggle for self-determination, reflecting the national stance against the oppression faced by Kashmiris under Indian administration. The rally reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to supporting the Kashmiri people in their quest for justice and self-governance in line with international mandates.
