Bangladesh Eyes Major Investments in Pakistan, Aims to Boost Trade to $1 Billion


Sukkur, Bangladesh is poised to significantly increase its investments in Pakistan, with an existing trade agreement valued at $800 million set to expand to $1 billion. This ambition was articulated by the Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh, Mehboob Alam, during a press conference at the Sukkur Press Club.



According to Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Alam highlighted the myriad opportunities for enhanced trade relations between the two countries. His visit aims to stimulate business exchanges and encourage Pakistani entrepreneurs to explore the Bangladeshi market more actively.



The Deputy High Commissioner’s remarks underscore a mutual interest in strengthening economic ties, reflecting a positive trajectory for future cooperation between Pakistan and Bangladesh. This move is expected to foster a dynamic business environment and contribute to the economic growth of both nations.
