Lahore, July 03, 2023 (PPI-OT): Bandits attacked the police late at night in the limits of Bhong Rahim Yar Khan police station, 01 banditti were killed in police firing. According to the details, the police received intelligence-based information about the presence of a gang of dangerous dacoits of Kutch in the area. The robbers attacked and opened fire on the vehicle of O police station Bhong, the police mobile was damaged due to heavy firing by the robbers, SHO Bhong and his fellow officers were safe because they were wearing bullet proof jackets, SHO Thana Bhong and his team retaliated against the robbers under self-defence, as a result of police retaliatory firing, 02 robbers were injured, others escaped.

During the search operation, the dead body of 01 robbers was recovered, which was identified as Nader, the search for the other injured robber is on. Spokesman Punjab Police said that DPO Rahim Yar Khan reached the spot as soon as he got the information and started a search operation in the area. Intelligence-based operations are continuing for the destruction of criminals.
