Srinagar, The residents of Bandipora district in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have been facing a severe shortage of potable water for more than a decade, leading to growing frustration and hardship among the communities.
According to Kashmir Media Service, despite numerous appeals to the authorities and subsequent assurances, the promised water supply projects have not been realized, particularly affecting the villages of Kanibathi and its surroundings. The local population is compelled to depend on natural springs and streams for their daily water needs, a situation that underscores the acute challenges in rural infrastructure development and basic service delivery.
The continuous neglect and unfulfilled promises by the authorities have exacerbated the situation, leaving villagers in distress and calling for immediate action to address their water supply woes and improve their living conditions.
