Quetta: Shahina Kakar, a former member of the Balochistan Assembly, recently highlighted the transformative impact of women’s education on society and emphasized the esteemed position of women in Muslim society. She articulated her views during a conversation with media representatives, asserting that education is pivotal for societal advancement and women’s active participation in national development.
According to Directorate General Public Relation – Govt of Balochistan, Kakar pointed out that the Islamic tradition strongly supports the education of women, citing references from the Qur’an and Hadiths that underscore the importance of knowledge. She drew parallels between the necessity of oxygen for life and the critical role of education in guiding individuals and society along the right path. Furthermore, she underscored the importance of both men and women in national development efforts, advocating for equal opportunities and responsibilities in various fields as essential for progress.
