Islamabad: In a meeting aimed at fostering collaboration, Balochistan’s Agriculture Minister, Mir Ali Hassan Zehri, sat down with Federal Commerce Minister Jam Kamal Khan to explore potential advancements in the agriculture and trade sectors.
The discussion, held in Islamabad, centered on enhancing agricultural development and improving market access for Balochistan’s farmers. Both ministers shared their perspectives on increasing interprovincial and international trade of agricultural commodities.
Minister Zehri provided insights into the agricultural sector in Balochistan, highlighting both its potential and its challenges. He sought support from the federal government to help overcome these hurdles.
In response, Federal Minister Jam Kamal Khan assured Minister Zehri of the federal government’s backing. He emphasized the importance of a coordinated strategy to connect Balochistan’s agricultural production with broader markets, which could bring substantial benefits to local farmers.
